I believe that we should focus our energies more on improving our country, and that can only be achieved through peace in the region. We are spending far too much on the defence, which should be utilized more on improving the education and health of the country.

100% agree, but we need to channelise this thought against the traditional rivalry. We see that India-Pakistani live in harmony in foreign countries and have friendly interaction wherever they meet. This shows that there is no enmity at common people level and there are some forces who are exploiting artificially created hatred.
