Re: How many of you want Pakistan to be ruled by Taliban?
I cannot put up with this nonsense about islamic govt, islamic justice, islamic this and islamic that. Haven't people still learnt that's how it starts and soon morphs and mutates into the taleban types and the jihadi cranks?
How about 'have a govt, have justice, have rule of law'?
Otherwise it will be back to people saying "this is not islam" and "that is not islam" whenever there's a bomb blast. What's next? Call for an islamic islam first?

Re: How many of you want Pakistan to be ruled by Taliban?
LastDino is unfortunately still in denial over the precarious situation of Pashtuns. That is why he likes to deflect the terrorism in NWFP as someone else's fault. Sad. :(
Can you shed some light on the situation of pashtoons?
Re: How many of you want Pakistan to be ruled by Taliban?
This thread, which raised an excellent topic, has degenerated into ethnic arguments and mohajir vs. non-mohajir arguments, instead of focusing on the question of Islam as rule of law.

100's of them have died in recent months through terrorist attacks and retaliatory army actions in Pakistan. Situation is similar in Afghanistan. Poverty, lack of education, refugees, warlordism, mullahism, opium culture, tribal wars, crimes against women, etc etc.
It is has been in the interest of some elements to keep them in this situation and Pakistani establishment one out of many guilty parties in this.
