Around 5-10 August there was a huge thunderstorm in Abbottabad (my city) and while I was admiring the lightning flashes on the roof, I saw a large shiny blue sphere zip down at a slight angle from the clouds to the city about roughly 600-700 meters away. It had a big blue halo around it and it vanished into the city in a second! After 5 minutes it again sped up from the ground halfway to the clouds, hovered there for a bit, zipped horizontally to the left about 300-400 meters, traveled up again at a slight angle, came down a bit and shot straight up into the clouds. It was a breath taking sight. I really wish I had a camera or my cell!

As I said, it went down about 700 meters from where i was, there is a large empty area and not visible to me. So, can't say what the sphere did there for 5 minutes. I don't know anyone else who has seen that. I can't imagine many people standing on their roof in a storm enjoying the scary view. :D

I once went out lamping in the country this winter just gone, provincial gentleman that I have grown into these days. :snooty:

Anyway I saw a strange glowing orb in the distance and so I stopped the dogs took out my Rhino stopper and a perfect broadhead (all legal offcourse) and shot at the offending orb… it was about 300-400 meters and it went down no problem… literally plucked out of the sky.
But the foul noise it made gave it away instantly…

Well as it happens i’m afraid it was nothing more than a glow in the dark baloon that a farmer had used to mark his territory… I had to make apologies for that…whoops. :hehe:

How was I supposed to know it was not an alien spacecraft…? Then again surely aliens might have shot back or at least tried to float away rather than hover over the same position… :omg:
