There are many stories of UFO sightings, alien abductions, and crop circle just as there are many stories of Jinn/demon/ghost sightings. It's up to you to believe what you hear. I wouldn't believe any of it until I see it. However, I do believe we could not possibly be alone in the universe. Now whether or not the aliens have visited the earth or not is a completely different story. UFOs could just be military jets/planes messing with your head, but how do you explain the crop circles, which appear out of no where over night in random places in such precise design over such a vast area that it's impossible for any human to achieve in such little time. AND people who are saying how come it doesn't happen in places like Pakistan are dead wrong. They are appearing everywhere, the issue is they are not reported or people don't care. BUT then again, I would always doubt all of it.... can't truly say I believe their claims to have seen/experience these unusual sightings.

The thing is that accounts given by many(if not all) abt these creatures,are same,which makes these stories/accounts authentic.

I used to think that way, but you have to remember it's not that most of these anecdotes paint the same pictures of these aliens/creatures. It usually happens to those who readily believe in the supernatural/paranormal phenomenon. I know I would find a hard time believing it unless it happens to me!
People hear about Grays (known typical alien apparition) all the time through others, sci-fi movies and stuff. These anecdotes are very much inspired by the same stories they have heard all their lives, through centuries! People have a tendency to modify their dreams to an extent, they want people to be able to relate to them and understand them. Most of these alien sightings are just like any ghost sightings. If you sit down to study both phenomena, you will find that there are many many similarities: how often it happens, what kind of people does it happen to, at what hour does this happen, and so much more. It almost never happens to any skeptics, maybe 1 in a 10,000.

Or is it that since they are able to visit our planet and we have not been able to go beyond moon(in man missions),they are far more technologically advanced than us,that they are able to hide themselves from the human eyes or that they possess some special abilities to evade human reconaiissance systems?

Have you guys read any book by Erich Von Daniken. I know that guy was a controversial figure and no scientist paid any attention to his theories but you got to read him. He is called the father of the ancient astronaut theory.
