It’s true though. I got pulled over by police at a check post the night I arrived in Pakistan while I was going home from the airport.
Reason: None
What would I have to do to go?: “Janab hum subah sey duty par hain, chai paani bhi nahi piya, bottle peeney ko dil kar raha hai”
I had to bribe in order to leave, otherwise I would be spending the night in the jail, along with the driver and my uncles.
It was such a warm welcome by the officials of Pakistan, sure I would always want to live there 
This is just one of the situations where I encountered the officials.
