Thats the only thing I don't do - eat with my left hand..even with a fork...sometimes I subconciously pick up the fork/spoon, but change hands as soon as I realise

When I see Non-Muslims eating they have the fork in the left and the knife in the right hand. I was just wondering whether there is any specific reason for that or whether it's just because it "has always been like that".

I am left handed but i got taught how to eat with my right hand when i was about 7. I still have trouble with that right hand when eating
