My wife is 5 years younger then me, however age really does not matter, in the end there is no age formula, I have seen ppl with 6 months age gap happy and I have seen ppl with 13 years age gap really happy as well, with all that said I would agree with other posters 2-5 years is a reasonable age difference.

I have an 11 month gap w/ mine and it still feels way older. But then I have a friend who is engaged to a guy younger than her by 2 years and he still has that “dominant” attitude over her. It really does depend on each couple.
