It is quite possible to remain quiet and if you can’t any longer then quit.

I have quiet a capacity for staying quite. The most I have gone is around 3 days (if talking to non-acquaintances/staff in the market etc. doesn't count).

I can stay quiet for hours. Me and my friend used to have silence marathons to see who could stay quiet longer… no one lost and we would go home w/t saying a word
