It was a hottest day of the year Yesterday, found it hard but It is going fine today , a cloudy day. :)

Everyone is complainign about the heat in the UK… but deep in my bones I am cold. No matter that I was in Bradford the other day and up north has a reputation for chilly weather… or the fact I then moved down to Brighton for the weekend and am now back in my wild west hideout. :cb:

This country is still far short of actually being “hot”… though my own parents and Sister think me quite insane. The Wife however agrees with me that the Weather here has nothing on a trek through Gedrosia. :smiley:

Muslims are complaining about the heat because we are fasting rest are enjoying at the Devon beach or crowding out of the Olympic park. :hehe:

^ But I think we got it easy to be honest, my friends father fought in the 10th Ramadan war in 73 that was in desert conditions hand they were fasting as well as leading a D-day style assault across a body of water and over a steep embankment.

Then again think of the Muslims who fought at Badr. Compared to men like that even I am a mouse. :D

^ Well military as an institution has wreaked havoc on other state institutions almost since Pakistan's creation. However I respect guys who are in the military, no matter what country they're from. Living away from home, for the sake of your country. Love their discipline.

Not so much for the country... what does a line on a map mean to anyone... its just an excuse to throw away innocent lives. There is plenty of room on Earth for everyone.

But defend ones home and hearth, and keep your fammily, your beliefs and the way of life of you and your people alive. Thats worth fighting for to the finish.

Any country that doesn't oppress and takes care of its citizens is a good one. That's all that matters.

Aye but few countries really take care of thier own people or any people for that matter.

I love what happend in Iceland though. I wonder what its like to keep Ramzaan in a cold country... I mean like really cold at leat -10 or colder.

You're right, however some countries are a lot closer to the ideal than others. And there are countries that are on the right path and will probably get close to the ideal soon.
Shouldn't Ramzaan in the cold be easy. I've never been anywhere other than Karachi so I can't guess what the cold feels like.

I don't think we're there yet, with rampant poverty and other social ills However we have a lot of potential and I hope we get there soon.

ramazan is going great but it is a little hot
