Re: How important is it to wear a bra?
I envy girls who can get away without wearing a bra (ie. a and smaller b cups). Unfortunately, c or higher…bras are a must. Not only do clothes not look good without a bras…nips poking out is also quite inappropriate.
I never wear a bra at home. Living in Texas, I can relate to it coming home and having the bra being soaked in sweat. As for things going south for larger girls…that’s inevitable (especially after kids). That’s what breast lifts are for.
All that being said…if your bra is cutting into your skin…then you may be wearing the wrong size (try a bigger band size?). As suggested, you should also go somewhere like Macy’s that carry a wide variety and different brands…and try out diferent styles.
^Nope, I get measured every time I get new bras. It’s just that I need more support (DD) and these bras are BEYOND uncomfortable. I just stay bra-free but I know I shouldn’t and my mom warns me every single day. We have this inside joke where she asks “Azaad? Ayasahi?” every time she knows I’m not wearing one..
I’m researching now and most places say you can’t revert some natural sagging which comes w/ being a large size but they also suggest you have to wear it to prevent back problems and other health issues and now that I think about it, I DO get a painful back but I always blamed that on my mattress.
Another question, do you guys go bra-less when you’re just at home or you keep it on until you are about to sleep?
The Texas heat is brutal!!!
But yes, I am completely bra-less at home…I cannot sleep with it on…and actually, depending on the weather/what shirt I’m wearing, I can get away with not wearing one out, like if I have a quick trip to walmart or something…
The “perks” of being a smaller B cup!!
