How human are Pakistani politicians?

I just saw Presidential candidate Alan Keyes sing a love song that he wrote and composed, on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. It just struck me as such a nice side to the guy’s personality. I recalled Bill Clinton and his Saxophone at his inaugral party in 92. I think even Tony Blair sang ‘Things can only get better’ at his victory party.

They just show a very human side to these people. I don’t have a comment on their politics or whether they are marred by scandals of corruption in any shape and form. They just seem more human to me. Then I think back to the land we hail from.

Can anyone Imagine Nawaz Sharif singing or playing a musical instrument? Or Benazir for that matter?? Altaf Hussain? Fine there is the whole religious aspect to it all … Al-moseeqi Al-haraam …

But honestly do the people we have allowed to become the leaders of our nation .. possess any shred of human qualities that we can relate to??

I could probably jam with Clinton … play the rythm for Keyes, dance myself silly to Blair singing more of his favorite numbers from D:ream.

If you meet any of our national leaders in a little cabin in the middle of nowhere, where supposedly apart from God there would be only man and wilderness, what would you do to kill time?? I think I am gonna make sure my wallet is in a safe place.

(Afterthought : I didnt want to post this in the political forum because this is not a political question or opinion, I think this is more a comment on the general perception of our ‘ruling class’ )

As far as Pakistani politicians go..they only have a qualificatin in robbing the national treasury. There was a joke someone said about Nawaz Sharif, which suits him so well.

Pir Sahib is right :)At political level our 'leaders' are great actors. Btw you can check out their 'human traits' at some of their private parties.

Did anybody see the comedy movie that Clinton did this week. I really liked the part where he ran after Hillary's limo holding her lunch.
