my bosaan [female boss] was/is like my ‘godmother’…she guided me through my academic as well as professional career. unfortunately, i had to take a long leave due to my health. we went to New Zealand together for our joint assignments where we lived and worked together for more than a year.

So she was more of a mentor. And thats what I like about a boss. A boss should always be a friend as well as a mentor IMO
