Which city are you in?

What is the criteria anyways for making a city global? I find it funny that Karachi is even on the list. How many “global” people even want to go to Karachi? Very few.

I am in senator Mccain’s city. :chai:

Sarkar. Criteria ranking kay samnay hi angrezi mein likha hua hai. The ranking is not tourism destinations btw.

List is not representative…

No FSD there.

excellent question, Fraudia bhai.

city of ny is as global as it can get. :>
it is as if a world city, in its own right.

Re: how 'global' is your city

We live 20-30 min away from NYC. And in many ways, it IS very "global" and its very nice that the schools incorporate Eid and Islaamic holidays into all of their holiday festivities. They learn about Kwanzaa, Eid, Christmas, the festival of lights etc etc.

Is this all SO very important? I mean yes it is...but here, although community and global-ness and acceptance is very important, so is having your child so very scheduled that you never to get to see them. If they dont have tennis lessons, karate, piano, horseback riding, soccer and/or football and an "after school club" or 3 then you're looked upon as a lacking parent.

I've been working on hubby cause I think that a more laid back atmosphere would be so much nicer for us all. I mean really...this globalness can only be taken so far. Even at their young age, my boyz know and can recognize and accept differences between religions and cultures even without having travelled too much.

IDK, I think these things can be taken too far.
