i don't get friendly at once, altough pretend to the other person at the first meeting; treat him well but the 2nd meeting is based on my 1st recollections. yes a witty and fun-loving person scores most on my friend list as this is lacking in most of the people and this quality turns a simple person to a friend.

I am pretty friendly, at least thats what others tell me. I talk easily with others in a gathering. I am willing to help if i can. My problem is that I dont go looking for friendship. I am happy in my own company so dont need others to make me feel good. I also have an issue that I am bad when it comes to keeping in touch once I make friends. It is also true with family. You will not find me chatting for hours on the phone. heck it is a miracle if i can converse for 10 min. The only person I chat with regularly for more them 30 min is my mom away in islamabad. Thank god for texting, boys and I do that few times a week. my sisters have given up on me. I have lost contact with all my friends from school and college because of this bad habit. I had a few to start with as it is. I have come to accept this drawback in me.

How friendly are you? Can u make friends with sumone that asked for directions? Can u make friends with sumone that shared a table with u at a coffee shop? How easily do u make friends?

I can be friendly with people you mentioned in these scenarios, but I don't see myself developing a long term connection with these categories of people. I am assuming that you are implying that this is the first interaction I've had with the said people.

If we hit it off instantly while chatting, then I probably would exhange numbers and stuff. However, the possibility of hitting it off so soon like that doesn't seem very likely.

How many times has something like that happend? Sure it could be a one time thing but from your question you make it sound like you're asking if this is something that can occur regularly. It's possible that I connect with someone on a first meeting but the probability of that with a random person would be very low.

It's not that I don't make friends easily. It's more like I don't tend to connect with random people immediately. If I meet friends of friends, then yes, there have been many cases where I have become friends with them after meeting them once or twice.

Well in the above case u can’t i suppose, but if ur head is screwed on properly u should be able to tell, if the person is of good or bad character…

P.s. if people can make friends easily (like they must have this instant pop up bubble warning in their head “this is a good person”) then why cant they tell if a person is a dodgy person…

Im a good judge of Charater, and can tell dodgy people from far off…

Not necessarily. A lot of times I can meet people that are friends of my friends (like at my friend’s dawat), but that doesn’t necessarily mean that I’m automatically their friend’s friend. However, after getting to know someone in such a setting, I have made friends like that.
