Yeah I am not into gown style either. I think what you have in mind should be perfect (And always in style). My sis got married 7-8 years ago and she had a short shirt with gharara (as that was the style back then) … she now feels she should have listened to our mom and got a classic traditional shirt (neither too short nor long) so she could wear it again (even with pants)… I think with heavy bridal joras it is always good to go with classic so it can always be in fashion. a timeless piece!
