Knowing you have common interests** can trigger liking** **BUT **interacting with a person can either make you like them more or turn u off to them. The 2nd option can lead an acquaintance to become a friend.....or a crush on a stranger to turn into a relationship......or if you find that interacting with this person is not pleasant....it could completely turn u away.
The 2nd option allows you more INSIGHT into your own feelings and the other person's character/personality.
