^thanks sweetheart for the hope. Is there a way to find a great eyebrow professional without becoming balee kaa bakra. Where are all the eyebrow magicians that can be found even in corner waaley beauty salons in the gulf and pakistan.
The ladies who do eyebrows in Gulf and Pakistan can make uneven eyebrows even and in shape. Is there a way to learn this art? I don’t find that here, the only way they make it even is when the eyebrows are pencil thin
^Learning to do your own eye brows is REALLY helpful. Since you’re trying to grow out your brows, plot the shape you think will best suit your face and using a good tweezer (I love my Tweezerman tweezers, and they do free sharpening for life, just send it in the mail) tweeze the few stray hair the grows. Don’t ever go get it waxed, waxing always removes more hair than needed. Also, learn how to thread. I taught myself to thread when I was 14 or so and I’ve always done my own brows.
If you need help with the shape and evening them out , Anastasia makes great brow stencils for various shapes/thickness and with various arches. I’d also hit my local MAC store and pick up a brow pencil and lightly stroke in the missing hair until it grows. If you need a lot of filling in, I’d buy a MAC #266 brush and an eyeshadow like Copperplate and fill them in liiiiiiiightly until the growth is back. And like @Reha mentioned, Biotin really helps.
Basically, you are going to have to modify the shape of one brow to match the other and that will mean one brow will have more hair plucked than the other one. I’d just applying castor oil to them as well as eating Biotin. Ardell makes them lash/brow conditioner which is really inexpensive but aids with brow growth, people don’t really see much of a difference with lash growth though: Amazon.com
M I learnt threading and do my own upper lip but I can't seem to get my eyebrows right. I used to even do my sister's and a few aunties' eyebrows but sadly my own I always went to a professional.
I have never gotten my eyebrows waxed, went to an Indian place and I thought they would be able to do a good job but the woman was BAD, she even pulled my skin along with bad shape.
I am gonna try and look for ardell and biotin at local pharmacies and add that to the castor oil regimen.
Ah! I made a thread about eyebrows ages ago - but I didn't know how to post pics back then.
I looove thicker eyebrows with a sight arch, it looks amazing. I got mine done a while back and the lady butchered it. =/ So I've got wild eyebrows en ce moment, but usually I wax them at this place...and then I pluck and maintain them for like the rest of the year lol.
Also, I think thicker eyebrows on people with light eyes (pale blue etc) looks amazing. Like ahhhhfreakingmazing. Hilary Rhoda, Jennifer Connolly, Ian Somerhalder etc.
Oh and you have gorgeous eyes + your eyebrows are perfection. Totally jelly-belly!
