cutting off all contact is essential otherwise if u keep calling/txting eachother then ul never let go and its harder to move on. its also good to surround urself with ur best mates and go out with them and try and enjoy urself so ur not always thinking about that person.
there should be no regrets because they are ur ex for a reason... probably means they were never good enough for u in the 1st place!
