how do u deal with stress/frustration

ok my fellow guppoo’s
i am soo stressed and frustrated today
i wanna know what all of u do when u are stressed and frustrated
i might try a few ideas if i like em.

..is mein to bunday ki maat hi maari jaati hai..whenever i’m frustrated..i do nothing..just sit in my room and think abt everything that happened and y it happened and whos fault was it..

My advice, when you just have to get away from stuff, I love to be alone when i'm stressed so I hop in the car and go driving aimlessly to the most remote places I know, usually before maghrib when the sun isn't scorching down...then I come home or to the masjid all nice and relaxed :)

Make others laugh.

Well, instead of trying to divert your attention so you can forget about it for a little while, you need to take on a better approach! because all the while ur doing something to take ur mind off it, u'll have this tiny persistant voice hammering u in the back of your head reminding you of what ever it is that's causing the stress. and that's what u need to get at! you have to get to the root of the problem, and see if you can solve it. Most of the times it's not that easy. But sit down, analyze ur situation, question it all, and see if you can do something to make urself or the situation any better.

If it's out of your control, then u shouldn't be stressing to begin with. :)

More you think about your problems the more seriously they effect you. Simple thing you can do is, only think about your problems when you are giving them time to solve them.

When I am frustrated, I just stop what ever I'm doing and relax, take a nap or something.

i usually just take a long walk........or just go spend some time with a friend. My favorite stress buster is exercising.

Whenever something is bothering me, I actually take the time out to think and ponder what is it, and what is the solution to solving it. If it's something which I can't do much about, yet it is bothering me, then I would pray two nifls and read Quran and it really puts me to peace with myself and the situation.

Take some time out you know.
Then continue on the work with a sorta-new beginning. 'Works i tell ya.

hmmm.. pick up a good book to read... or take a looooOOOOoonng Nap... that helps...! :)

Go for a really,really long walk..get lots/tonnes of fresh air..chat 2 my best mate..and listen 2 some good tunes..!;)

n i will suggest u to do dat but those who smoke it really helps

well this will be a kind of cheezy response, but one thing...its ok to feel stressed about something but its another to get frusterated over something. Just think, that every challenge you receive, its cuz Allahmia wanted you to experience it and learn from it. And one thing is for sure, He is not gonna give you a challenge if you couldn't handle it. Allahmia is all Just.
How to deal with it? Well..if you're still feeling tense even after accepting full trust in God's will, then write out what's stressing you out on paper. And then write out a list of what are the pros and cons of the situation. then make a small goal for yourself that is possible for you to achieve. Note I said possible...cuz some things are not in your control. Just do the best thing possible for whatever choice youre confronted with.
Lastly, and you know it seems almost too vague of a solution, cuz sometimes, there's no immediate response..but..just pray to Allahmia..He's really listening believe it or not, and He's your ultimate closest friend and witness. :) GOOD LUCK!!

hey Riz
i would suggest go exercise, take it all out on the darn machines, go treadmilling or something and while you are at it think about the whole situation, try to work on it and then when your mind is all cleared go take a long shower and then relaz for a while, i betcha this work i try it all the time…

Pray to God! Talk to him .Share my worries with him and beg him to take care of me and cry while praying . It helps me a lot and i feel a whole new person and my problems do get solve too. I thank Allah everyday to love me.

The best solution is:
perform namaaz/pray to God then take some sleep! :)
