Congrats to all the recent mommies! Mine will be 9 months in 1 day! I can’t believe how the time flies! She is extremely active (has been since birth) and extremely alert! I’m currently planning her aqeeqah/first b-day and I plan to go ALL OUT! I’m more excited about planning this than I was about my own wedding. The décor, party favours, cake sigh nothing short of perfection for my angel face!

yeah.. i can still remember my elder girls first bday.. i was equally excited for all tht stuff. venue,menu, fotographer, guests ,dress, cake etc..

Mine is 7 months two days Mashallah. He can sit without help but no teeth yet . I think he’s teething thou cuz he’s constantly chewing on his pacifier ( he doesn’t suck on it but loves chewing it) sleeps well. Mashallah. He doesn’t have a set schedule. Having so many people in the house ( inlaws etc) it’s hard to put him on a schedule everyone wants to hold him , play with him. He’s very lucky Mashallah to have so many loved ones around him.
When he turned 5 weeks old he completely stopped pooping ( imagine going from twice a day to not going for days ) I was freaking out but his pediatrician was totally ok with it and told me not to worry. He would only pope once a week or every 10th day. I tried anything and everything but nothing worked. His pediatrician told me that he sees a baby who poops every 23rd day and its totally fine for babies his age cuz their digestive system is developing. When he turned 6 months I started giving him prune juice once a day per his pediatrician advice and alhamdullah now he goes everyday. A lot of mothers dont agree with giving juice for constipation but when you have a baby who doesnt poop for days yiu will do anything to bring relief. He is Mashallah a very good baby eats fruits, veggies, cereal. I did t give him rice cereal. Stopped bananas, apples etc cuz of constipation. Give him lots of green and yellow veggies.
He’s a chatter box talk a lot ( he takes after me ) but he’s totally his babas boy. As soon as my husband walks thru the door. He forgets about me and only wants his baba.
I can not wait for him to start walking.
I am not big on huge celebrations for first birthdays but inshallah will plan something nice just for family.

my baby is 10 months Mashallah. he crawls everywhere now and can stand for a few seconds without falling. he claps his hands when he’s happy and can say baba. he won’t say mama for some reason, but thats probably because I’m always in his face and he deosnt need to call me :P.
he imitates things that i say but only when he's in the mood. he eats well for the most part; cerelac , fruits, noodles, chicken , soup , rice etc. not much of a veggie fan though. drinks breast milk but not formula.
he has 2 bottom teeth now and one top one. his gums have been swollen for a while now, and it affects his temper . come to think of it, he’s mostly foul tempered through out the day, and its really causing me some anxiety. i want him to be happy but he gets upset easily and cries really loudly really easily.
he goes red in the face and waves his fists around when he wants something .
he usually hates his stroller and bouncer and lets not even get started on the crib; thats like his jail or something.
he hates other people (since he only sees me and my husband throughout the day); hates dawats , specially hates the mall and oh he won’t sit for more than 5 minutes in his car seat without expressing utter disgust and anger.
this has been going on since he started teething, and as much as i want to blame his behaviour on teething I’m beginning to think he’s just like that.
i honeslty don’t like him very much these days (there i said it)

Mine will be 4 months this week InshAllah.
Cant roll over.
Doesnt sleep well in night like wakes up every two hours.
Poops 5-6 times a day (I hope its normal)
Ebf till now so refusing bottle now.
Has got eczema.
So as a whole I am still struggling
