I am so sorry that you are losing your house, it must be really tough... You know when you were in school and you had tests... you had to study for them and make sure you do well in them, alot of the exam were so difficult that you thougth there is no way I will pass this and when the result came you ended up passing... Think of this as a test from Allah... he only tests the people he loves, He wants to see if we keep our faith strong in the time of tests or not. I know losing the house is a big thing, but think of this, you are safe your family is safe.... you might have to rent a place for some time and buy a house again , it will all be fine.... Allah will help you , you just need to be strong and dont let this bring you down. I remember a time when my mom used to not eat beacuse we didnt have enough food for every one, that time has passed for us and this will pass for you. BE STRONG, YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS.... These are the things that define our character, they build our character, dont let yourslef be down, be strong.... there is nothing wrong with living in litmed means for some time, you will get back on your feet soon... InshaAllah, i will pray for you.
