Oh, as for groceries. We usually do them together, largely because I still don’t drive ( 
). However, if we just need a few things, I usually walk to Wholefoods in the mornings, and pick 'em up.

i think public trasnport is so great never felt the need, neither in canada nor here in denmark.
BUT.. i do wish i had learned after marriage cuz im expecting, and pretty soon the kid will be needing to be taken to preschool.. and im no way in hell cyckling like the silly danes with those buggy attatched infront of the bikes in -20 winds! i could learn after the kid is born, but aaarrrh.. its such a chore!

Btw you can learn at Uncle Butts in Vesterbro .. when needed .. my bhabhz and aunt did that .. But do take some "illegal" lessons with hubz too, so you get confident, cuz uncle butt is known for taking advantage of people .. or better you can wait till you have learned danish and learn it with a gora .. so much more comfy IMO :D
sweetmoi, the maid comes once or twice a month, depending on how social we've been :) its a really big help - you should consider it!
I'm def. considering .. especially for cleaning bathrooms and the tiles .. it takes me such an age .. :p

My in laws have a maid that comes to their house every week so after I got married I was treated like a total princess.
After we moved out to start med school, however, things got a little rough. But thanks to my husband's patience and our compromising we now cook and clean together and believe it or not it is so much fun when the 2 of you do it together!!
