I think the only difference between US and u americans is the way we say the last word in the sentence.

I like the hot weather in Pakistan etc.

but over here its a strange kind of hotness. we have a relative come over frmo pak, and when she saw the hot weather in this country…she couldnt take it. its weirdly hot. maybe cuz theres not many trees/natural land around here…as in not tarmac roads etc.
