And ppl here have sum misconceptions about sex in jan'nah well ppl for information when a person dies his/her nikah breaks. if htey had a good relationship on earth then they will be remarried in heaven but if the woman was bad or the man was bad they will be allowed to choose their partners. And well heaven is a pure place and do u think any staunch muslim woman or man would like to have sex with millioion different ppl??? i don't think so...well not in my case though.

Now, does everyone who enters jannat gets hoors or is it just jihadi types? Is there a long registration line to pick your 72 Hoors or are they pre-selected? What if you die with your spouse, does you nikah break? And what if you see your spouse with a hoor in heaven? Is that cheating?

Ruling in the world in not applicable in jannah anymore. In Paradise you are not going to concern yourself with what your husband/wives/Children are doing. You are going to be too busy indulging yourself of every kind of pleasure. …& Paradise has a lot to offer.

I don't know why and where people got this number "72" from.... In the heaven everything and all blessings will be unlimited.

I'm So Miserable Without You, It's Like Having You Here.

Are you sure hoor mean white raision, I thought they mean "women with big eyes". and Quran has clearly mentioned that women in heaven will have big beautiful dark eyes.

I think the raisin thing is a joke

Does anyone believe that heaven will consist of spiritual pleasure rather than pleasures of the flesh? I have a hard time believing that God's Kingdom is full of orgies, palaces and feasts. Those are physical, earthly pleasues, not spritual or holy.

I agree with u seminole...i guess most ppl's imagination ends at pleasures of flesh...may Allah help them.

Seminole what's wrong with having physical pleasures in paradise? Paradise will have both spiritual and physical pleasures.

One of the spiritual pleasures will be the countenance of Allah. Every dweller of Paradise will be dumb stricken by that view and will continuously stare at Allah for at least 80 million years. Thereafter, that
opportunity will be afforded to individuals according to their closeness and sacrifices they made in this world. Lastly, but not least, Allah will announce to His successful servants that He has favoured them with His
eternal pleasure and that He will never be displeased with them. There would not be any great pleasure in Jannah that being conferred with the pleasure of Allah.

Surely if one believes that he spends 80 million years with God, it is within a spiritual existence and not a carnal one. Do you really think that you will spend millions of years on silken pillows over-indulging on food, wine and women- bathing in rivers of milk and honey? Is that God's plan for nirvana?

Or is heavan a self-conceptualization stage where our souls discover the Godly qualities of love, forgiveness, unselfishness and charity? We cannot imagime what heaven is like, be but we have to know that it is about the development of our souls, not how many orgasms we can achieve or how much cake we can eat. Surely God has higher aspirations for us than the material pleasures we seek here on earth.

Those who assert that "hoor" is gender-less, please read Quran to find out:

[55.72] Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;

[55.73] Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

[55.74] Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;

This translation uses term "Companion" but if you keep going read 55.74 it shows that the companion are "women".

Anyway, with Lord of infinite wisdom, infinite resources and best justice I am sure He would have best award for believing women as well. perhaps award for men was mentioned more because they have wider role in society, so motivate them.... Allah SWT knows best.

May Allah SWT guide us all towards right and help us follow the right

Can someone live in a nonmuslim world and then go to muslim heaven? Is the muslim heaven different from the non-muslim heaven? The hoors stuff is fantastic. Screw this nirvana bit and reincarnation stuff. We should all live like athiests in the real world and then go to muslim heaven to hang with the hoors.
