Okay main point is that Lums is free to give contracts and also if they don’t want to extend the contract they are free to do that and if vast majority of students are unhappy with a teacher it is better to replace specially a teacher like him because that can result in riot to well you can read colunm of Ijaz Haider on this issue The Pervez Hoodbhoy-LUMS dispute – The Express Tribune

Mr. Hoodbhoy, like Christopher Hitchens; see this world through a special set of glasses that filters out some of the facts. There is no doubt Hitchens was and Hoodbhoy is a very knowledge able person, but they just ignore some of what they know for what ever reason. They like to take things out of context and then build their case/story on a lie.
The University has the right; not extend the contract if they don't require his services any more.
