May be they did not have a honeymoon , so they are curious and want to find out what happens on honeymoon or they are tying to make up for their loss of honemoon which they did not have.
Give poor souls a chance.

Wouldn’t it be easier for them to just go on their own now then 
Someone mentioned inlaws arriving 2/3 days later if they really have to come along.. I suppose that would be a compromise but I wouldn’t put up with having them there the whole time.. prob wouldn’t be able to relax, dress how I like, get up when I want in the morning without being judged

But they are old souls , they would not remeber/know what to do on honeymoon at this old age. They have to take their cue from their son and DIL. :@:

Obviously this wasnt meant to be a honeymoon as we know it, but rather a family vacation, so maybe we should look at it that way
