Pakistanion nay karna kya hota hai in sari jagaon par ja kar? Can't drink anything (the interesting stuff), and can't eat anything. Imagine going to Lahore and saying I don't eat meat. Well that just kills a big attraction to Lahore, the food.

Dubai is ideal for a honeymoon! The resorts, the beaches, the malls.. and events!

Go via train from Karachi to Islamabad - reserve a koopa (or whatever the hell its called) in the AC sleeper - Khyber mail - enjoy the train trip :blush:

Then from Pindi station go straight to Murree and check into a hotel on Mall road
in the evening get dressed in your valima outfit and stroll on the mall road. Have coffee from the small coffee machine in front of the GPO - talk a walk towards kashmir point and eat garma garam samoosay at the hotel half way to Kashmir point. Then come back after nightfall and do some shopping in the underground market. Then finally eat a grand dinner at the Usmania restaurant, before going back to your hotel.

Nothing beats that

i went to maldives (pure magic and once in a lifetime place) and dubai, off to milan in 3 weeks then egypt for my 1st anniversary in march !

Umrah is an excellent suggestion, then afterwards maybe some other place like mentioned above..

Don't get me wrong, but Dubai is probably one of the last places I'd want to spend my honeymoon in. It's a nice place for a "normal holiday", but certainly not a romantic getaway place for a honeymoon.

I shudder at the suggestion of going to malls on a honeymoon.

My husband hates the thought of day-long flights and the jetlag that follows especially when on the honeymoon.. but who cares, you only get married once so the time following it is very special. So post rukhsati, we are thinking of taking a 3 day cruise out of Miami to the Carribeans or Jamaica, and then Dubai and Maldives for the next few weeks which we will have before he starts work. We thought of Umra on the way too but let's see how the plan turns out. I have heard all these places are SOOOO beautiful, would love to explore them.

hahahahah!!! dont know about makeup but Gina~ and I have big plans of shopping and hangin out together! :D

Shay, i agree with Silsila. We went to Maldives and then Dubai for our honeymoon and it was just heaven on earth. No pollution, dust, noise or cars. Just sea and sand n ofcourse ur hubby!

We went to Hilton Maldives - Rangali Island and oh MY GOD it was beautiful. It was my hubby who had organised it all as a surprise and i only found out on our wedding night when he was dying to tell me!

Another destination is Mauritus. Thats such a beautiful place to go. Went on holiday there - rented a moped and rode all across the ocean...wonderful Alhumdullilah.

We went to Paris and stayed there for 4 days, saw all the places even went to Disneyland which is outside paris....will try to post pics.
