Hajj does not make a good honeymoon. It's a great idea to go to Hajj when you're young and energetic, but you have to control your urges--not easy when you're newly married. Only one couple I know went to Hajj for their honeymoon, but the rumor was strong that they had been sleeping with each other for years before getting married--so it wasn't a novelty to be together and they used it as a "born again" type of experience.

We went to France for our honeymoon, both Paris and the Riviera. Really romantic and lovely and picture perfect! Although for a second honeymoon, I would love to go to the Maldives or Tahiti or the Seychelles.

I want to go to Venice, Italy for a second honeymoon. Or I want to go to Hawaii...it was way out of budget at the time. Anyone know how to get any affordable deals to hawaii??
