i never previously like PAKISTAN…i used to be ashamed of being associated with pakistan…i knew nothing of it …& had only heard dad , chacha’s & maamo’s speaking abt the horrible politics of pakistan…& all the rishwat taking & stuff…
i never really knew many paki’s here either…
**the only reason i had wanted to visit pakistan was for shopping… **

**but after joining GS…i started liking pakistan…& really wanted to visit it 'cause soo many nice ppl here r from pakistan…& i soo wanna see the place…yea one of the threads in general did make me think again ke should i or should i not visit pakistan… **
but then i soo wanna visit pakistan now…
& well pak’s independence day is soo close…& this is the 1st time ke i am happy & soo wanna take part in the independence day celebrations…
i never felt like this before for the independence day…or for anything tht was pak related… sharminda hooing

the nice people from pakistan you are talking about dont live in pakistan, but outside pakistan. unfortunately in pakistan you will find only the kind of people your uncles were talking about.
I was really patriotic when I lived abroad, a big pakistani supporter and I thought that pakis were the best people, but after coming to pakistan all that has changed
