Re: Homosexuality

Err....it wasn't me who sent it. It was err....Gina...Ya Gina. She kept the original I bet :D

Sheesh Mirch. For once I am being serious and nobody wants to set into the arena with me. People can easily mouth off about homosexuality this and that on these forums. But when it comes to an intellectual discussion where they are forced to back up their retarded opinions with proof, logic and evidence they cower like dogs.

And Mindless just for you I am starting a drama thread.

Re: Homosexuality

first: that, given the language of the Qu'ran and other considerations, one cannot truly make the argument that Sodom was not guilty of sexual misconduct involving homosexual acts.

The second: that these acts are, without a doubt, a reference to the bundle of sins which homosexuality included in the days of the Prophet: rape, fornication, ect.

The third: no law is EVER given regarding homosexuality, nor even a direct mention. One must do a fair amount of assuming to say that the story of Sodom even relates to the lifestyle of the modern gays (it really has more to do with rejecting the messengers which the Almighty sends).

In interpreting the Qu'ran, we must believe and act upon the fact that the Qu'ran is the Full word of the Almighty, and that what He has said and what He has not said are sufficient for us.

Thus, in no way can the story of Sodom be applied to the modern (in pre-common era) phenomenon of gay marriage, gay love, and gay life.
Hi everyone, i just want to share my thought with you, I read the Holy Quran and we got to keep in mind that there is great difference between men to men and man to gay. The story of Sodom and Gomorrah is truly about man forcing them self on other man, raping just to satisfy their false ego as man, the story is not about a man taking a gay, man is man woman is woman and gay is gay, in those days a gay person was not viewed as a man, they had other terms or names for them, so please help spread truth reality and lets help to put a stop and the pushing away of great Muslims from Islam just because you think you are better than or doing better or cause of self-righteousness. People are people, good or bad only Allah knows the heart and the true intentions of all.

In some of the great ancient cultures a gay person was viewed as highly spiritual, it was said they had one foot on heart and the other in the spiritual world, many held high positions as leaders and priests, it's all gone bad cause of the kind of society we live, the fear to be real and truth, but enough is enough.

A man is the one who takes a woman, if he doesn't take a woman then he is gay, so it's all in giving things the right name and giving scriptures the right interpretation, thank you.

no, innateness does not excuse someone from the consequences of his actions. But the comparison you make is a false one. Putting a personal, private, loving relationship between two people on the same level as someone who has violent tendencies is a rather absurd comparison, to be quite frank. Violence by definition involves malice and most importantly it involves intent to cause willful harm to others.

As I said earlier, being gay is really about one thing: love. It has to do with some people in the world being born a certain way, and that certain way meaning that they fall in love with people of the same sex. But you cannot start with the argument that something is immoral and go from there. You must first establish that it is objectively immoral, something which I think is impossible, since I do not think you can come up with any non-religious reason homosexuality is immoral.
We have to find a common philosophical language to speak, because otherwise we will have disagreements on such a fundamental level that we’ll never be able to reconcile them.

In short, we can’t start off a conversation with you telling me “You’re not normal, you’re immoral, now try to convince me otherwise,” because quite frankly from what you have written I think the same thing about you.

Re: Homosexuality

Quran guides some and misguides some. And it misguides only those who are not sincere.

Struggling Against Homosexuality, Finding Islam](http://www.islam.forumwise.com/islam-post-19099.html&highlight=homosexuality#19099)

Paki-Fairy:

**Here is the story of a young American man who through Allah’s grace was able to loosen the grip of same-sex attractions and find my way out of the homosexual lifestyle. **
He did this by embracing Islam.

**"SODOMY AND LESBIANISM **

In more than one place in the Holy Koran, Allah recounts to us the story of Lot’s people, and how He destroyed them for their wicked practice. There is consensus among both Muslims and the followers of all other religions that sodomy is an enormity. It is even viler and uglier than adultery.

**Allah Most High says: “Do you approach the males of humanity, leaving the wives that Allah has created for you? But you are a people who transgress” Koran (26:165-66) **

**(1) The Prophet (saws) said: (1) “Kill the one who sodomizes and the one who lets if be done to him.” (Tirmidhi, a sahih (authentic) hadith) **

**(2) “May Allah curse him who does that Lot’s people did.” (Ibn Hibban, sahih (authentic)) **
**(3) “Lesbianism by women is adultery between them.” (Tabarani, sahih)" **

{Allah does not burden a soul more than it can bear.} (Al-Baqarah 2:286)

This koranic quote implies every soul, man, women is tested, in one way or another.
Everybodies test is specific to himself, Allahs test can come in any form or way, but we must continue not to give into our immidiate desires and strive for the path that pleases God.
People who believe they gay, also fall into this category and should try thier best to fix themselves.

Fighting against evil inclinations brings one closer to Allah.

Many times we find evil thoughts and ideas coming to our minds. However, if not acted upon, such thoughts can actually be a means of drawing closer to our Lord. The Prophet said:

Whosoever intends to do a good deed but does not do it, Allah records it with Himself as a complete good deed; but if he intends it and does it, Allah records it with Himself as ten good deeds, up to seven hundred times, or more than that. But if he intends to do an evil deed and does not do it, Allah records it with Himself as a complete good deed; but if he intends it and does it, Allah records it as one single evil deed. (Muslim)

Thus, by fighting oneself and struggling to obey the Creator, one draws nearer to Him. Although this might seem monumental, struggling and striving towards the Divine requires only a sincere heart and obedience to His commands.

Therefore A Man may not be able to control his mind generating the unright tendencies; which Allah understands, but he certainly has got control of his body and actions and should continue to strive to keep them from commiting major sins, such as sex outside marriage or sodomy.

And yes, This time I did copy some content from google. But it makes sense so read it.

Paki-Fairy—Gayness is condmend not only because it is an unnatural act.
But because of the perverse effect and inlfluecne it also has on society.
The ratio of women to men is already very disproportionate.
Allah has created man for women. And man neglecting his naturely laws, by man keeping to only himself, ultimately will lead to destruction of society as more women are left unmarried and the human generation can neither continue as this sam sex relation cannot reproduce.
Its doesnt take a genious to work out that such a relation unnatural, and how destructive it is ultimtaly to society, therefore classed as immoral as other immoral acts.
When will you realise this.
If Gayness was not immoral and not a detriment to society why would Allha destroy the nation of Lut (pbuh).

Pls note Islam and his Messenger is the one and only true and superior, flawless guide, which helps us to decide what is immoral and what not.

I just described to you how in modern times Gayness is immoral.
Hope you will agree to us now. We only want to help you to stop to stop promoting Haraam behaviours and earning yourself nothing but sin.
