the strain is not bright, and it appears some people are not far behind. how does the virus get transmitted, unprotected sex, needle sharing for drugs.. which gets people infected..
innocent people do not get infected just because they pass by an infected person..
1) Person A is sharing needles with someone infcted and gets infected
2) Person B is engaged in unprotected sex and gets infected
3) person C is in a supposed monogamous relationship with person A and gets infected
4) Person D is in a supposed monogamous relationship with person B and gets infected
C&D are victims in this case, but had person A&B not been stupid, none of the 4 would have caught the virus.

My Question to all you Biologists:
When you know that marrying within family (marrying one’s cousins) will stop the gene pool from expanding and will keep the old (including the unhealthy) genes within that pool. Kids born to that couple will inherit the bad genes. Knowing all that, why do people in some cultures marry within their family? Are they knowingly taking that risk? Isn’t it the same as having sex with someone who has HIV virus?
do you support a ban on intermarrying?
