looking at some of those pics of both countries right after independence, I kind of felt thankful that it's 2010(nobody else got that feeling?) and I hope both countries would progress even more, moving away from those horrid times/thoughts of partition.
hoping nothing like mumbai attacks happens again to damage such already fragile relations.

Mr.Rajiv Gandhi’s final moments…
See the assassin,the SriLankan born Tamil,Dhanu wearing jasmin flower garland on her hair.Se was a belt bomber. Afew seconds after this was taken ,Dhanu scrawled through the crowd,reached infront of Mr.Rajiv,garlanded him ,and pressed the button… The man who had taken this photo,Mr.Haribabu was hired by the L.T.T.E for capturing Rajiv’s final moments was also killed in the blast but his camera survived and the film roll and the plot got unearthed soon…(Almost all the people in this photo were killed in the explosion as the explosion happened after a few seconds of capturing this image)..
Also the aftermath scenes of the explosion..Very graphic and viewer discretion is advised…
I can not forget this night and the day after the incident… memories go back to twenty years…
