Jainism started with first thritahakar, Rishabdev, last thirthankar was Bhagwan Mahveer, he was 24th thrithankar:). The philosophy of Jainism is very much similar to indic religions with moksha as most important concept. The religion is about getting above from earthly realities and live life of ascetic, as far as I know, religion is against earthly possessions. There are two sects, shwetambar and Digambars, Digambars live totally nude, I have seen a digambar baba sitting on road in Hastinapur near meerut

Whats the philosophy behind the action of Digambars and how they socially interact?
