The famous Munich Meeting of September 1938 between Adolf Hitler and Neville Chamberlain. The first conference where the leaders arrived by air, making Neville Chamerlain the first British Prime Minister to travel in plane. The Munich Meeting was perhaps the first meeting of it’s time which was directly attended by Head of States instead of diplomats
As a student, I always wondered if the world would have been very different today, if air travel was not an option in 1938? Air Travel changed the face of international relations, it revolutionised diplomacy. If any of you are looking to do a Politics/History/International Affairs dissertation, this is a very interesting topic to look at.

The word great doesn't always carry positive connotation? If I ask you 'Akbar' and 'Alexandra' are known as great? For whom, they were great? specially Alexandra?

Above photo is taken in Compiegne, France on the occasion of first armistice between Germany and allies at the end of first world war on 11th of November 1918. The document signed taht marked complete defeat of Germany was signed in the rail car.
Above photo was taken on the same spot after Nazi German forces captured France in 1940. In the same rail car, 2nd Armistice was signed that marked French capitulation.
