Re: Historic Letter on Good governance by Ali bin Abu Talib
What words of wisdom!!!!!
It would be a pity if someone clicked on this thread but didn't read all what Hazrat Ali (a.s.) had to say.
I agree with you. I have read it 4 times and will read it several more times just to implant these neurons of wisdom in my mind .
One fine example is the finer point he mentioned in choosing ther adviser for a ruler. It might not be of much interest for a layman, but advisers 'do' influence a person in decision making position and They (advisors) certainly can influence a ruler and change the course of history to great length.

The following is so touching especially coming from a man like him! :( He cared so much for the people. Ummah nay teray sath kasa insaaf kiya. It always saddens me when I read what Hazrat Ali (a.s.) had to say. It always baffles me. With such wisdom, knowledge, generosity and what not. Still u were only capable to be 'the number 4'?

Look at this way God always had better planing than we can ever fathom :)
He was the most able and wise advisors of first three and God knew that only he would be able to handle the most difficult and unruly folks of that time, So he saved him for that time.
