Does Sinhalese believe that India is supporting LTTE. Did you find any sinhalese saying like that. LTTE and tamil movement is between India and Sri Lanka and srilankans at least to my knowledge does not accuse India of supporting LTTE. The story is not that straight forward between India and Pakistan.

And isnt this a wonderful example of the great bias we all have…selectiely highlighting points in one’s favour…fo instance mo293 here had very conveniently deleted the last part of the sentence which said “…**This clandestine support to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), some of whom were on the payroll of RAW, was later suspended”. **

The point of discussion was not “suspended” But LTTE was trainned and supported by India which your country men denied and called it a joke.. Doing a U turn just beacuse your child turned on you is not out of the ordinary.

Did we ever deny that Indian govt did not support LTTE before.. but when INdia found the folly we stopped supporting it.. In all our posts we had present tenses..we are not supporting LTTE. If you want to discuss something which was done 20 years ago, u can start another thread..but this thread has no significance to that period. The thread starter uses a news item here and then without any shread of evidence accuses india of supporting LTTE. This is point of discussion..if you fail to see it then you are blind.:D

Well..no disputes on that point at all...the dispute is regarding the topic which you have so very conveniently overlooked - it puts India's support as a currently ongoing thing...and that is what you had tried to prove with that link...and very nicely had deleted the last two words so conveniently...
and the point about bringing in Pakistan into this discussion is coz when it comes from Pakistanis (all these holy talks of how a child you raised has gone out of hands), it appears like you have never done anything similar (holier than thou attitude) - that comparison with Pak's supprt of Taliban is only to highlight the fact that you guys have also done something similar...but of course you are not interested in the truth so lets leave this as is...

This problem what I notice is extreemly severe with Indian Muslims. They like to become enemies of Pakistanis, just like Hindoos, based on their love for theit country, India (Nationalism). Nope...not all points...only on the point of India having initially supported LTTE. We dont agree on what you were tryin to provide a proof in the form of that link - that currently also the LTTE is supported by India.
As for barkin at the wrong tree, well sadly for you, it is not the case. Without an overall perspective, it is impossible to judge a situation - so if you are commenting on LTTE being India's child that has gone out of control, the example of Taliban having been Pak supported initially but now Pak being against it gives the India-LTTE relation a perspective of how such a 'relationship gone sour' story is not a unique event but is something that has happened elsewhere and so should serve as a learning to other movements being festered/supported by any country in other countries (but thats for those who want learnings - if your only interest is India bashing, you can continue)
As for those who want to talk to someone specific, there is a provision for Private messages...use of that is a better idea if you dont want others to comment.:D
