I meant the state elections that just concluded last week where Congress took additional states. Not sure but I think BJP now may have contol only in one or two states. That hardly qualifies them as "masters". Democracy is such a wonderful thing, if you can appreciate it.
Coming back to the topic of this thread, I still have not seen sensible statement of views in support of this allegation.

we have 30 states in india. so if u distribute the elections over a period of 5 years(the normal term of a legislative assembly in india), the figure turns out to be closer to what u have quoted.

Is Gujrat not part of India? In fact it is one of India's largest states with a population of nearly 52 million people i.e. the size of England. A lot of Indian's were loudly proclaiming after the genocide of the Muslims that the BJP-RSS would lose the elections in Gujrat, but guess what they not only won but got a hugely increased majority as well. This further proved that whenever minorities are targeted i.e. killed the BJP-RSS actually wins votes by stoking up fears, as it has done three times at the national level. Come general election time next year the BJP-RSS will win again at national level whatever a few mid-term local difficulties, that all incumbent governments experience.

Interesting, so almost 80% of Indian government ministers are from the BJP-RSS-SS, which is a clear factual reality that India is ruled by a bunch of fanatics, and that secular parties have very little voice in the running of India.

That is correct.
this is what i was talking about. u make allegations against all indians. then i will refer to the whole of india. the central govt. is now on its last legs. so u cannot refer to the composition of that govt. to speak about their mass support today. the truth is that bjp is in power in only one indian state - gujarat. and only a fool would associate everything in gujarat with the rest of india.
if india were so rabidly anti-muslim as u r anti-hindu, the muslim population would not have been increasing in india. a look at the census data will tell u the real picture.

The truth you cannot deny is that the BJP-RSS is in power at the centre in India i.e. rules ALL India, whatever a few local difficulties which all incumbent governments have. It will remain in power well until the end of 2004, and on past performance it will win again as it has time and time before. That is because unfortunately a great number of the Indian electorate buy into the communalist anti-Muslim/Christian rhetoric of these people. If they did not then they would never have elected the BJP-RSS to power (again and again) after the Ayodhya dispute to and the subsequent massacres of thousands of Muslims.
