the book has hardly anything remotely nice to say about non-muslims now why i am not surprised over its lack of respect among them......
for instance jews are likened to pigs now which jew in his/her right mind respect this kind of word tell me and if they don't then where does the blame lie.........watching arabic channel jes are pigs is the general theme there and qayamat won't come before all jews are killed these kidn of things they publicly say on TV.. not just some tom dick and hary but sheikh wadhani the great religious scholar of bahrain or is it qatar.. I am sure these gentlemen in picture too must have found sthg equally offensive hence this action......
If u ask me any book which says no matter what i do I am destined to burn in hell-fire will be hard placed to get my respect.. yes I won't go aorund burning them but there is next to none possibility of it getting my respect...

frankly, you guys bring it upon yourselves. the world is not made of Gandhijis.
when osama kills 3000 in the name of religion, right or wrong, you should expect retaliation.
when the idiots in taleban destroyed Bhamiyan, expect resentment (yes, lahore, in spite of your half baked 'misinformation' about Hinduism, a lot of Hindus consider Bhuddha their God)
when some laskari-something bombs a holy temple, expect retaliation
....you get the idea.
what's more important to you? saving the books or stopping shia-sunni killings?
