Re: Hinduism ?
Peace babloos,
As you said above (underlined) that all the x number of gods re just x number of ways to reach him (one single god). The religion of Islam also says the same thing. The ‘Almighty Allah’ in his book ‘Quran’ and in those books which revealed before Qur’an, called us to ‘worship only one existance and that is “Him” and none else’. And how one can reach to “Him”? He sent Messengers/Prophets who called towards ‘One God’. But those Messengers/Prophets never claimed to worship them along with ‘One God’. So the number of gods which referred as x numbers are referred in Quran as Messengers/Prophets. If we follow the saying of Messengers/Prophets (x numbers of gods) than we can reach to ‘one god’. Before I proceed further I would like to know:
1- Vedas is written by whom?
2- How Vedas describe the 'One Single existance i.e. one god?
3- Does Vedas says to worship more than 'One single existance?
I’ll appreciate if you quote the verses from Vedas in support.
