^ The US Commission on International Religious Freedom recently recommended (for the third time) that India be added to the list of Countries of Particular Concern for "ongoing, egregious violations of religious freedom." Previous attempts (in the aftermath of the Gujarat riots) were shot down by the Sec. of State and the Bush administration...now that the government is giving the rioters a free hand to commit all sorts of atrocities on Christians, I think the US government may finally listen to the CRIF and put India on the list where it belongs.
