Hijab Chic

Re: Hijab Chic

How about we mind our own damn business for once. How they dress and carry themselves is none of our concern, who are we to decide who is corrupt and who is not? Thats between their God and them just as what we do is between our God and us.

Re: Hijab Chic

I should have been there.... i could have been a good model... lost my chance again

Re: Hijab Chic

Exactly.

Re: Hijab Chic

Theres way too much generalisation going on here. Its typical of desis to pick out faults in hijabis. Maybe its because they haven't the guts to put one on themselves so slagging them off makes them feel better. Granted, there are many that wear tight and see through clothes but to say 'most' are corrupt is pushing it. Don't let a few smear it for the rest. Get real people.

Re: Hijab Chic

I am surprised at how jahil some people here are!

Re: Hijab Chic

Naseeb? Really? I think it’s much more respectable than ratedesi…which is full of psuedo-porn…

Re: Hijab Chic

I think it's great that fashion designers are reaching out to the Muslim market, even if it is a money making enterprise for them. There is nothing wrong with being a stylish hijaban. I've seen hijabans wearing Calvin Klein head scarves for years now, I guess wearing a different logo won't make much of a difference.

Re: Hijab Chic

Mehnaz, why did you remove the posts?

Afterall we have a “right to ask” about stuff like camel toes don’t we in health section? :crying:

Re: Hijab Chic

No, actually you don't which is why it was removed. Khair, if you really, absolutely desperately need to know, you can PM Sara516 for an explanation, or better yet, use google for such queries. :)

Re: Hijab Chic

Mahnoor, your posts are beginning to make more and more sense.

Nia, you shouldnt have edited your post. It had some valid points too.

Re: Hijab Chic

hahaha she is a Tough Cookie:D

Re: Hijab Chic

nice post :k: i agree.

also just as a side note…even if some hijabi’s dont wear the proper islamic attire…at least they continue to wear their hijab and at least they are covered even if it doesnt show the outline of their body. It’s a hell of a lot better than those girls that show skin and dont wear hijab…at least from the Islamic perspective.

Re: Hijab Chic

mehnaz baji wat did i say bout cameltoes i dont even remember :bummer: i think i missed a great fight while i waz gone!!

starsky, wearing pretty revealing stuff and making out and being a hoe are a disgrace to the hijab…and yes i did wear hijab and i took teh extra step to make sure I was dressed properly and behaved properly… and angel eyes, how is wearin ga scarf + tight clothes better than no scarf+ modest clothes? Aren’t they both equally wrong according to Islam? Covering your body, i.e covering teh curves is part of it too, not just covering teh skin, is part of it as is covering the hair..

Re: Hijab Chic

will corporate america pls leave our women alone? i mean whats next hunh? victoria secert parading around these women in just their bras or panties with the hijab on?

Re: Hijab Chic

I know this totally chic Egyptian hijabaN. I love the way she wears the scarf...her ears show partially so she wears earings. Her neck is all covered though (up to her jaw). She has the most beautiful skirts i've seen. She's all so bling bling but beautiful.

It's another thing though that i'm turned off by her immaturity and phoniness at times. :D
