I used to walk :teary1:

Re: Highschoolers of the States

I still walk to skooool...never took a yellow bus...it's really bad when u have to walk 30 minz to get to skool in the morning n come back home walkin half dead in the afternoon...It's tiring...

Re: Highschoolers of the States

see…the canadians have no idea what i’m talking about.

like PCP said…it is really social suicide to take the bus. you get a ride, or if you’re really lucky, you have your own car. ofcourse, you might have a part-time job on the side or watever…but that’s the thing.

ahh…good to know some things never changed.

sara: i know what you mean…even the sight of parents out of the car or watever is just  ahh…good ol’ days :stuck_out_tongue:

though…i have found that if you’re in canadian in high school, and you work, (part time), you’re on a completely different level of…social ladder.

Re: Highschoolers of the States

where do u live? Canada or the States?

Re: Highschoolers of the States

I took the yellow bus all four years of HS since it was the only form of transportation to from school besides having someone drive you to school.
It was only uncool during the senior year of HS since most of the seniors drove to school. I was one of the few who took the bus =(. But people didn't point fingers at you and say "Oh, you're so darn uncool because you take the school bus. Who takes the school bus these days?"
