Well, if it makes you feel better ( :) ), my mother is furious with me. It was a big secret in my house that I was going skydiving. My father knew, my sister knew ... everyone knew except my mama. If she found out, she would have tied me up with chains and forbidden me from leaving the house.
In fact, when I got home and told her, I got smacks from her. :)

zidee, yeah being on the east coast kinda sucks, Cali is where all the action is at- and available aplenty at that.
My first time was in Dubai when they introduced the concept in the Gulf at the first Dubai Shopping Festival. That was around 130 feet or so falling off a bridge with water below. I don't remember the rebound but it wasn't too great a distance.
The second time was at the The Rock in Ottawa, Canada. Now this is the real deal, around 200 feet and a guaranteed rebound of more than 150 feet! (regardless of your weight). Incredible experience! It's also regarded as one of more 'established' and therefore safer bungee jumping spots in N.America.
I'm planning on going there sometime early next yr again, so lemme know if ur interested. A lotta Ameican tourists (esp east coast/midwest) come here as well, as not only is it a breathtaking site but they offer great group discounts as well.

^ heck that'd be a great idea for a guppy meet too. I dunno if they're still open this late into the summer but I'll try to find out. If not then for those interested we should stay in touch and organize a trip there when it re-opens.

MQ-that’s so funny, i didn’t tell my parents either. all my brothers knew but neither one of my parents knew. If they had found out, they would have flown here just to tie me up to a post! 
my brother told her afterwards and then she didnt care cuz she knew i was alive and well!
My mom just saw the video and she nearly had a heart attack … started praying to Allah mian to give me sense and a brain!

count me in both for bungee and/or sky diving anytime, except Dec/Jan (too busy those 2 months). If not, i might have to drive to Ottawa just for the bungee jumping, since canada is closer to chicago than cali!
