No I don't know about all these other words. I hardly know any Punjabi or Urdu words, as I strictly speak English. When I went to Pakistan everyone had to do sign language to me as I couldn't understand them, but my cousin sisters kept saying "Ay Saab kuch samjna avway nakrah karna"

Cool, I am from Pindi (in Pakistan) and I’m a Punjabi too. One thing I have to say is seems like all the hot girls live in Lahore.

Its true thats why. Well the girls are alot more liberal there then in Pindi. Maybe its because we live in the village. However, when I was in Pakistan and I went to a wedding, there. And basically, I had never seen so many hot girls dancing and I was surrounded by them, they wanted me to dance too with them. In Pindi if that happened there would be a major deal about it as everyone is really, really conservative/extremists in Pindi, you can’t talk to a girl let alone dance with her. So yeah I really enjoyed it at Lahore.

If you speak Pothohari or any language close to it then LAMBER is wood cutter and NUMBER_DAR is a person designated by government for the management of Land in Village.

I think you mixed NUMBER_DAR with LAMBER

Yes as people have rightly told, its "Numberdaar".

Numberdaar is usually picked by village people to represent them and other than that does not exercise much power. The real man in village is "Patwaari", who is resposible for keeping record of land and land owners and marking the land. They do a lot of corruption.

In Punjabi Numberdaar is usually called "Lambarrh". Reminds me of a punjabi verse

"Chan char-ya asmaani, Taara koi koi

Lambarrhaan pakai daal, daana koi koi"

Translation: Moon has risen up in sky but there is hardly any star
Lambarhh's have cooked pulse but there is hardly any bean
