Hezbollah Leads Work in Rebuilding Lebanon

Re: Hezbollah Leads Work in Rebuilding Lebanon

His group kidnapped Israeli soldiers in retalliation for the 100s of doctors and politicians that Israel has kidnapped from Lebanon and Palestine. To this, Israel claimed it had a right to "defend itself"... So by defending itself, it destroyed the airstrip at Beirut International Airport, followed the next day by airstrikes on Southern Beirut.

To this, Hezbollah began launching rockets into Northern Israel.

Who started the war? If the war was started by the 'kidnapping' , then it was surely Israel that started the war because of their numerous kidnappings of innocent civilians.

If the war began by a large scale offensive, then it was surely Israel once again because they bombed Beirut's airport and blocked the seaport, shutting down the country.

A superior army, you say? Such a superior army infact, that they had indestructable Merkava tanks. Tanks that could withstand anti-tank missiles. This is why we saw footage of burning Merkava's. This is why we never saw 30 000 troops ever reach the Litani River. This is why the IDF's elite squadron carried "daring raids" by kidnapping a Grocer by the name of "Dib Nasrallah".

If Israel is seriously so superior, why were they unable to meet their objective of "eradicating, wiping out, and eliminating" Hezbollah "for good"? Only after they realised that they were getting embarassed and shafted, did they take the diplomatic approach.

mixing his illegal militia within the civilian population, causing the decimation of the infrastructure and economy of the country and he is somehow the model for leadership?

Of course it was Hezbollah fighters that went and bombarded and crippled the Industrial sector of Beirut. Tell me why the IAF air raids specifically targetted milk and plastic factories in Beirut? Tell me why they targetted the business sector in Beirut and Tyre? Is this what was the consequences of Hezbollah?

If Israel is infact such an angelic force, why would they bother carrying out attacks on Christian and Sunni businesses and towns that had no affiliation with the Shia's and Hezbollah? Was their aim not to elimiate Hezbollah? Why then, did they have to cripple the Lebanese economy? How would this meet their objective, other than by using it as propoganda post-war to say that it was the cause of Hezbollah?

And "mixing" his illegal militia within the civilian population? Did you know that in recent times, only the IDF has been tried in international war crimes courts for actually using Palestinians as human shields?

At first Israel justified its Qana massacre by saying that Hezbollah were hiding amongst civilians and had missiles in basements... when in fact there were families hiding in the basement of the Qana apartment.

Then later on, when Israel was getting thoroughly humiliated on an international level, they claimed that Hezbollah had dug 'underground' tunnels which is why there were impossible to target.

So which one is it?

You ... have NO leaders to admire and have to find the least steaming pile of crap;

Which leader should I admire? The monkey-looking AmeriKKKan leader that lied to his people to go to war in Iraq, or the lovely Israeli leader who, after winning seats, declared that he would bring much more painful repurcussions to his 'enemies' than his predecessor (Sharon)?

Iran is funneling money through an illegal militia to further THEIR cause instead of funding the legitimate, elected government.

What about when the U.S. sends millions of dollars for reconstruction to Israel to futher THEIR cause? So first you have an issue with Iran arming Hezbollah, which I can understand somewhat-- but now that they are funding them for reconstruction, you STILL look at the hidden agenda behind it?

Get a grip on life. There is a hidden agenda behind everything. The U.S. is in Afghanistan because of the massive narcotic industry (second biggest import after oil), and in Iraq for obvious reasons.
