makeup wise i kinda like the look of a soft blue/grey smokey eye or a highly pigmented blue seen in the video/link i posted below.

also i liked beyonce’s look it’s not smudged or smeared really it’s mostly to the crease, not above and a bit winged on the ends.
also as for hair i think most guys tend to hate hair tied up, i realize you are married and maybe your husband could care less but i would think a nice amount of volume from some steam rollers at the roots and curling your hair in or out would be simple and nice kina like below:
