now THAT is an un-desired effect :D

If it is falling from any particular areas then you might have alopecia. Get to a skin doctor asap.

If left untreated it will all fall....even from your eyebrows and lashes.

Hello Deewana, I just want to say that most hair begin to thin and fall with aging. If you are in your late twenties or early thirties, do expect some thinning of hair. But i read your thread and you said, every time you shampoo, you see lot of hair in your hands. It might be because of your diet.......i suggest just have a annual checkup for any nutritional deiffciency by your GP. Usually zinc or iron defficeincy can cauze thin hair. As with lot of guppies in N.America, i agree the water is really bad here. In pakistan, i used to have shiny hair but over time in Canada, i have noticed they are lot drier (advice, dont keep your head under the shower for a long time, only when you are washing off the shampoo). Also, its good your using a mild baby shampoo and keep treating your scalp with oil. In the end, most men do see hair lost with age, so the good thing is, you would not see it as a surprise when you hit your forties and fifties. I hope you are not stressed about it so much. Take care.

Dandruff shampoos are notorious for making people lose hair. I suggest you dont use them that regularly. I used to use Head and Shoulders at only the very front part of my head/hair, and what do you know, it thinned/fell out compared to the rest of my hair. Soooo, I asked my friend who was a hairstylist why this is happening, and she said dandruff shampoos often cause hairloss after prolonged use with some people. She told me to stop using it (which I did) and use other methods for control, and now I no longer have this issue of thinning hair, Allah ka shukar hai.

Eat plenty of fish, its great for your hair. smile

I think that is thats the reason why I'm loosing hair, because I use H&S too and in the area where I apply it I'm going bald. And ever since my cousin started using a dandruff shampoo he started loosing hair. Thanx I'm gonna have to pinch my parents herbal essences.

^ you are 18. You should have some hair left. Shave your head bruce willis style asap and adopt that as your look. By the time all your hair would have fallen out, around 23 years of age, no on e would notice the difference.

Bruce Willis??

Naa.. Don’t wanna look like him, he looks like my physics teacher

I’ll probbably just wear a cap or a prayer hat all the time when I do go bald…
