are you sure u know exactly what you're getting into, exactly what marriage entails and do you know ur fiance well enough and trust him completely, keeping in mind that you and your family haven't met him yet?

well then my advice would be to tell your parents
have a genuine in depth conversation with them
and really really try to get their consent (w/o it a nikkah isnt really valid--- and you definitely dont want to go down that route)
