Re: Hell on Earth
When in your life did you feel that you were going through hell on earth ?
My soul experienced the worst torture of my life whenever at any stage of my life my mind and heart declared anything to be the truth and I felt that I SHOULD obey it immediately, but somehow was able to temporarily send my heart and mind to sleep through time to time doses of laziness, excuses and "worldly benefits of not following the truth".
And when the heart and mind woke up only to realize that they were decieved in that matter, I felt my soul buring in hell.
It still happens sometimes because the Truth is covered by thorns of difficult TESTS, but if a person is able to initiate in tasting bitter realities he feels like he has taken a bath in the light of purity to remove all impurities from his heart and soul, (like a newly born child) and the pleasure in that can't be expressed in words.
May Allah bless all of us with the wisdom to recognize the truth and the strength to follow them sincerely and selflessly.
