Reminds me of an incident when i was doing my housejob in Mayo.
It was Iftar and we were 3 house officers and casuality MO just starting our Iftar. A family brought a child. I went to see the child, he had passed away. The policy at Mayo was not to resuscitate anyone brought without pulse. So i told the reatives. One of them plainly said,
"Dr Saab, changi tara check ker lo, kal wi asi bachey nooN ley key aye saan, tey O Dr Saab(pointing to casuality MO) ney akhiya sey bacha mer giya ae. JadooN asi gate tey puhunchey tey bacha hilna shuru ho giya".
We were all very embarassed, i checked the child again, and said, well, this time i can tell you that he is dead.
